Facade Mounting Application
In order for the exterior TERRAZZO coatings to be made in a healthy way, the most common application method is the anchorage system.
The most common anchorage system is the rail system and the TERRAZZO coating in buildings in accordance with this system provides serious advantages.
We can list the advantages of the rail system, which is made entirely in the form of steel construction, compared to bonding as follows;
- Bonded natural stones and terrazzoes fall out over time. Such a problem is not encountered in installations made with an anchor system.
- While there is no area for insulation in the bonding system, an area for insulation is formed in the anchored system.
- In the bonding system, a certain order of natural stones and terrazzoes can be ensured as much as the smoothness of the concrete, while in anchored systems, order can be provided with ease of adjustment.
Technical Information
It can be used safely in the installation of stones up to 80 kg in any size with a thickness of min 20 mm.
It can be connected to concrete with M8 steel dowel or to hanger profiles with M8 bolt set.
The distance between the connected surface and the stone axis (x can vary between 4 cm and 16 cm.
The body, stud and pin forming the system are made of AISI 304 quality stainless steel.
It is recommended to use 4 mm pins for 2 cm thick stones and 5 mm pins for stones with a thickness of 3 cm and above.
